He will then renew his successful collaboration with Maestro Giacomo Loprieno and his orchestra, with a concert at Riva del Garda on 22nd December. Despite the busy schedule Friar Alessandro’s Italian fans should be able to get a glimpse of him again on Italian Television over the Christmas period. Friar Alessandro will also make his TV debut in Germany in a programme due to be screened by ZDF on Christmas Day, teaming up with renowned Mexican tenor, Roland Villazon, as the latter makes a voyage to Assisi on the trail of St. Francis.
In 2015 Friar Alessandro has accepted invitations to perform in a number of countries already. The first of these visits will be to perform 2 concerts in Malta in February of next year. The first of these concerts will be in Floriana on 7th February under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Malta. The second will be a concert held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the visit of Pope John Paul II to the St. Paul Collegiate Church in Rabat. This latter concert to be held in the St. Paul Collegiate Church itself will be televised for Maltese television. Friar Alessandro will be supported by an orchestra and choir. There is already substantial media interest in Friar Alessandro’s visit and in respect of these events. Later in the year the singing Friar is due to appear in France in early May, and in the Czech Republic (Prague) in early June. He will return to Italy however in the interim, having an engagement to share his gift and his testimony from Franciscan friars throughout the world who will be arriving in Assisi for the General Chapter there which commences in mid-May.
